Overview
If your search results redirect to the homepage when using Wix Multilingual / Wix Languages, it’s usually due to how language redirection is configured in Wix.
You can fix it quickly by adjusting your language settings.
Steps to fix
- Open your Wix Editor.
- In the left panel, open the Wix Language Menu.
- Go to Redirection Settings.
Select the option:
✅ Use your default language and let visitors select their preferred languages.
- Publish your site to apply the change.
Why this helps
When Wix automatically redirects users based on their browser language, it can interfere with Site Search search URLs. By using the “default language” setting, your visitors can still choose their language, but search results will load correctly.
