You can create filters based on product tags, or based on text strings found within your product details in order to help shoppers to narrow shown products and better match what they are looking for.
This is only supported on Shopify stores.
Tag-based Filters
For example, a fashion ecommerce store with lots of shirts, each product tagged with its special features.
- Create a new filter with an appropriate title:
- Pick multiple product tags to be shown under the newly created filter:
- You can also use wildcard for tags with the same prefix, for example "vintage*" which will include "vintage white", "vintage pink", "vintage shirt", "vintage blue".
keyword-based Filters
- Insert a name for the keyword-based filter and hit Create Keyword-Based Filter
- Select the source of the string you want the filters to be based on - Title or description
- Type-in the keyword and hit Enter after each term.
